Eugene (AP)* --- Eugene's Millennial Slug Queen, Accordionna, is recovering slowly but surely after surviving a bicycle crash on October 2nd. Accordion to a confirmed report, her front tire blew out on a downhill run, causing her to catapult helmet first into the asphalt at a speed of over 20 miles per hour. Despite suffering a concussion, sprained ankle, bruised ribs and lots of road rash, the Queen appears to be in good spirits and her brain seems to be functioning at least as well as it did before the crash.

Sources close to the Queen have confirmed that she is planning to host Accordion-Oke! on October 13th, with Kenny S and Tuba Bud providing extra musical support to offset her unusually low supply of Royal Energy. The event will take place at 1 PM at the Saturday Market and the public is invited to participate. When asked, Queen Accordionna replied, "Accordion-Oke! is like Karaoake but with a Squeeze Box instead of a Boom Box! And YOU get to be the Star!"
